WHY HAVE HEALTHY ROUTINES ANYWAY?

Being healthy means that you need to take care of yourself every single day. The best and easiest way to do it is to make this your habit so that it stops bothering you and it will just begin to occur naturally, without much thought (like washing your hair or brushing your teeth).

Remember, all the good you do for yourself will reflect in many ways. I want to show you how I, as a model, manage to take care of myself regardless of how far away from home I am. Most of the days I am very busy and sometimes it gets impossible to eat properly BUT there are some tricks on how to take care of yourself even on the busiest of days.

I guess most people wonder how models always maintain a good figure, with shiny hair and brilliant skin. Of course, we owe a lot to genetics, but the biggest influence comes from what we put in our bodies and the way we take care of ourselves. If you often eat junk food, smoke, drink alcohol and don’t get enough sleep, how do you expect to look ten years from now?!

It is always your choice!

The sooner you change your lifestyle the better for you. Benefits are numerous and you will see them really fast. Contrary to the popular belief, it is not just about weight – it is about being healthy and feeling good. Maybe some of you would ask me how can you feel good if you are hungry? Well, I don’t want you to be hungry, I just want you to be healthy and eat well. The good thing about healthy food is that you can eat it as much as you want.

Eating healthy will reflect on your:

Energy levels

Skin, hair and nails

Weight

And your mood.

You will not feel tired after every meal and craving naps. You will not need to sleep more than you should, which is usually eight hours. Your skin, nails and hair will be shiny as a result of all the good things that you are getting into your body.

Just like with everything else in my life, the one rule that I tend to stick to when it comes to eating and drinking is a balance. There is no need to live with some strict rules, give yourself the freedom to enjoy a glass of wine or that chocolate dessert, but keep your healthy routines for all the other times. You can’t say NO to everything in life – the key for a long and happy life is keeping balance in everything you do.
